New submission

New authors (without an account with our journal) please submit manuscripts directly to the editor’s email: thefutureenergyorg@gmail.com and bzhang@futureenergysp.com.

The reputation of our SMTP servers has been severely damaged due to a large number of spam user registrations using fake email addresses. Therefore, most emails cannot receive emails sent directly from the website. The site administrator will review new accounts and activate your account manually. However, the registration process will be delayed. Therefore, new authors are kindly requested to submit manuscripts directly to the editor's emails: thefutureenergyorg@gmail.com and bzhang@futureenergysp.com.

New user registration Q/A

Due to the large number of spam user registrations, the Captcha for new user registration has been changed to a more challenging verification, and validation of email address is also required. New users need to click the activation link sent to the user's email address. However, some email address hosting providers (such as Yahoo) are not compatible with our SMTP. The webmaster will review new accounts daily and manually activate your account. At the same time, the author can send a registration request or directly submit the manuscript to the editor's email: bzhang@futureenergysp.com.

Another simultaneous submission identified

A recent submission "Application of Geographic Information System to select Dam Location for Hydropower" has been identified as a simultaneous submission, which has been published by another publisher at http://www.conscientiabeam.com/journal/13/abstract/6032. Due to this unethical academic behavior, we regret to inform the authors that this manuscript has been rejected for publication.

Simultaneous submission issues

The editorial office has encountered two incidents in which the authors submitted their manuscript to multiple journals at the same time. This type of behavior is called simultaneous submission or concurrent submission, which is considered unethical. This kind of behavior will greatly waste the time and effort of reviewers and editors. At the same time, it is possible that the same manuscript will be published by multiple journals. In the end, even if such articles are published, they will be withdrawn by the editor in time. The authors can only submit their manuscript to one journal at the same time.

Preparing for the evaluation of SCI and EI/compendex index

Trends in Renewable Energy will enter its third year and remain free-of-charge to authors. I’ll submit our journal to the SCI and EI/compendex index for their review. The evaluation will last approximately 1.5 years. To pass the evaluation, the number and quality of publications are highly dependent on contributions from the editorial team. I’ll start to solicit manuscripts from our editorial board members very soon. In addition, the publication frequency of the journal is reduced to be semi-annual to ensure that each issue has enough papers.
